You Have To Get BIG In Your Business!

Short post today as I just wanted to quickly break down a core concept that I live by in my business and life.

It’s fairly straight forward and impactful, so, I don’t feel the need to hammer out 1,000 words about it.

One of the most important mindset shifts that I always focus on first thing in the morning, is to make sure that I’m fully focused and set up to, “Get Big!” in my business that coming day.

Now, what exactly does this mean and what makes up the concept of “Getting Big?”

Longer Definition: “Getting Big” is an abstract concept that encompasses essentially everything that has to do with having a successful, strong and productive mindset in your business, and in your life. To “Get Big” is to live in such a way where barriers and obstacles crumble under your feet like ant hills in a shoddily maintained South Carolina lawn.

Shorter Definition: People who “Get Big” are literally unstoppable and can be held back by nothing or no one.

  • Here are a list of things that people who “Get Big” in their businesses NEVER Do:

People who “Get Big” never accept failure. 

People who “Get Big” never make excuses or blame others.

People who “Get Big” never waste time on “fads” or “trying out the newest things.”

People who “Get Big” never get discouraged or bummed out when things don’t go their way.

People who “Get Big” never rush into something before they evaluate it impartially and without emotion.

  • Here are a list of things that people who “Get Big” in their businesses ALWAYS Do:

People who “Get Big” take responsibility for their own success and business future.

People who “Get Big” understand that failure and obstacles are a part of business.

People who “Get Big” work around proven systems, and make those systems work for their businesses.

People who “Get Big” always keep a positive mindset which allows them to burst through barriers and issues.

People who “Get Big” evaluate opportunities and options with temperance and an understanding of the ultimate goal.

These are the main, core differences between people that “Get Big” and live incredible lives, and those that “Get Tiny” and live horrible existences.

In order to always get and live big, you have to have the internal mindset where you are 100% sure of your abilities and potential.

Failure is simply not an option to the person who consistently gets big.

Therefore, success is inevitable.

Summary: The concept of “Getting Big” in my business and life is what powers me through the hard times and keeps my focused on why I do what I do. It is the sole reason for my success and happiness.

Action Steps: 

  1. Understand and internalize the concept of “Getting Big” in your business and life.
  2. Use the concept as an active reminder that you are the only one that can get it done and that failure is not an option.
  3. If you ever find yourself “Getting Tiny” in your business, immediately stop that crap and Get BIG!
  4. Work this concept until it is literally a part of your existence, identity and life.
