The Only Thing That Matters In Your Business In 2017

It’s almost 2017!?

With the new year less than eleven hours away, this is as good a time as ever to bust out the ol’ “New Years Inspiration Post!”

So, without further intro- The only thing that matters in your business in 2017 is how many people you will speak with each week about working with you.

That’s it, everything else is noise, distracting, completely irrelevant and most likely holding you back from reaching your income and business growth goals.

Do you want to make $20,000.00 per month in your business this year?

If so, how many people do you need to speak with each week to to do those revenue numbers?

Let’s say your extremely valuable program that delivers an incredible outcome to your clients is $5,000.00.

In order to hit your income goal of $20,000.00 per month, you need to therefore enroll one client per week (math guy here).

Let’s say you enroll 1 out of every 3 people you speak to on average (this is a conservative estimate).

That means in January of 2017, in order to hit your goals, you will need to speak with twelve potential clients or three clients per week.

This is not only very doable, with the right plan, you can absolutely crush these numbers in your business.

Speaking to three qualified, potential clients each week is not hard to do if you have the correct system and process set up in your business.

That is less than one conversation every two days for the month.

That shouldn’t be a daunting goal for you to set and achieve.

The issue that most of my potential clients have is that they simply DO NOT have a system to ensure that they do a consistent number of client calls each week.

Most coaches, consultants or entrepreneurs go into each week with a “hopeful outlook” but simply don’t do the things necessary to ensure their success.

They go through their work weeks and months piecing together business and revenue through referrals, meet ups and other sources that are simply not consistent or reliable.

This leads to a situation where their income is extremely inconsistent and clients come into their business in peaks and valleys.

When times are good, they’re good, and when times are bad, they’re bad.

You can’t run your business hoping for referrals and clients to come to you.

You must put into practice a proven, duplicatable and scalable system to attract a consistent number of client calls into your business on autopilot each week.

Summary: As a coach, consultant or entrepreneur, your income and business growth is exclusively tied to how many potential clients you speak to each week.

Actions Steps: 

  1. Realize that the number of clients you talk to every week is the only metric that matters.
  2. Once you internalize that, focus relentlessly on setting up a proven system to produce a consistent amount of client conversations.
  3. Once you set up and refined that system, and your conversations are coming on autopilot, scale both sides of your system to pay for even more conversations with potential clients.
  4. Watch your income, business and lifestyle go to the moon in 2017!
